INSTITUTIONALIZATION OF CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE

Learning Objectives:
  1. Understand your districts concept of effective communication with the population that it serves. This may include forming connections with community leaders as to not plan inappropriate interventions.

  2. Development of a knowledge base including networks, lines of communication, and systems to better respond to the needs of children.

  3. Identify consultants, community contacts, and use of developed system/network of support to answer culturally relevant questions or concerns.
